i always wonder what people did with downloaded drawings....?
yup it is one of those cakes; i was too lazy to draw a typical western kind with all the frosting...so i ended up drawing a chocolate matcha mousse cake <---been wondering if such a thing existed...
that shoulder!! i know it looks sunburn..i was originally trying to match it with the blush, but it turned out too dark. And i tried to fix it, and it didn't work, and i was lazy, blah blah blah,etc....orz.....

you would understand that balloon if you watch Gintama!!!

I totally got a veoh account and downloaded that episode 8). And I watched the whole thing, too. I think the subtitles were pretty good, actually.
Katsu= Yum in that episode.
Cross-dressing guy= WTF.

those cake aren't really fancy or anything they're actually typical cakes that people buy at asian bakeries. i mean those are the kinds of cake i buy all the time
ok...fine...i think in episode 14 (?) Captain Katsura enters Ely in a pet show, and the "Sakata family" (gin-san and the gang) enters Sadaharu too. And near the end, it shows that Ely may really be an old man in a duck/penguin costume
see, isn't Gintama good??? there are quite a bit of fanservice, in my opinion *drools*

no one knows...it's one of those great mysteries of life.... and it's interesting that all the characters tend to ignore this fact...lol...
good luck waiting for it to be licensed outside of Japan. It may take many many years, or even not at all. Usually comedies don't get licensed for North America, and the fact that this anime has tons of Japanese joke/parody references in it. I don't even see it as a real possibility. Most people are just hoping right not that Viz don't drop the Gintama manga...'tis sad...
